Life Memberships Awarded

On Saturday Night at our special 50th Birthday Game 18 Hawks Life Memberships were awarded.

Our First Life Membership was awarded to Jim Dagostino

Jim was a board member in 1989 and 1990, right at the time that we entered the then State Basketball League and became club President in 1991, serving in that role up to 1997. Jim also served on the Subiaco committee and was club president at Subiaco for 3 years. Jim turned his hand to coaching and was a Level 2 accredited coach and coached some our WABL teams in the early days.

Jim was joined by his wife Janice, son Dion and daughters Liza and Tina.

 

The Hawks also awarded Life membership to the following players based on playing 200 or more games for the Hawks , equating to close to 10 years’ service with our Club. Congratulations to the following SBL/NBL1 West Players:
