Perry Lakes Hawks Basketball Association is seeking Nominations for Board positions for 2023/24.

Nominations for Board Positions

Under our new Constitution approved at a SGM held on 12^th June 2023, all Board positions will be vacated at the next AGM and nominations are hereby called for 2023/24 board positions.

The nominator and seconder of every nominee to the Board, shall be an Ordinary Member of Perry Lakes Hawks Basketball Association. Application for Ordinary Membership can be completed and accompanied by a $20 membership fee and forwarded to the Board for consideration. As required by Section 6 of the constitution, all applications for membership will be reviewed by the board to determine whether the application is accepted.  All applicants will be notified of the result of the review.

4. Eligibility for Membership

1. Any person who supports the objects or purposes of the Association is eligible to apply to become a member.
2. An individual who has not reached the age of 18 years is not eligible to apply for a class of membership that confers full voting rights.
3. All members that are, prior to the approval of these rules under the Act, members of the Association, shall be deemed to be members for the purposes of these rules, from the time of approval of these rules under the Act.

Annual General Meeting is scheduled for MONDAY 11^th December 2023 and the formal Notice of AGM will be advertised on 20^th November 2023.
