NBL1 West is back on court this Weekend-Purser to break record Saturday Night
This weekend will see our NBL1 West teams back on court after COVID-19 guidelines saw last weekend’s rounds postponed. Our Men have a double header and our Lady Hawks will play Saturday night.
Ben Purser will now break the club record for most games played this Saturday Night at the Herb Graham Recreation Centre when the Hawks take on the East Perth Eagles. Purser will be honoured with a special presentation at the Hawks vs Willetton blockbuster game on Friday July 23rd.
This weekend’s games are part of Indigenous round in the NBL1 league and the Hawks will be wearing uniforms that have been specially designed with the help of Isaiah and Phil Walley-Stack.
With regards to the design, the big circle represents the lake, the smaller circles with two curved shaped symbols are people coming together the dots represent their journey. The Hawk flying over the lake and people, keeping an eye on them sending down her good energy, When we meet with friends and families we leave with a feeling like we can fly. Look out for them on our social media later this week.
