Week 3 State Champs Wrap

The final weekend of 2019 BWA State Champs took place last weekend with 4 of our U13 Boys teams and 5 U15 Boys teams all playing over the 2 days.

 

U13 Boys

Our 4 U13 teams all did well with our 13-3 Blue team going through their pool undefeated.

Under the pools system only the top team of each pool went through so even though the team was undefeated the top team (Willetton Tigers 1) had a higher percentage and went through to the semis.

U15 Boys

We had two of our teams make it through to the semis – U15-3 Boys who lost in a close one to Joondalup and our   U15CH team.

This team beat Warwick in the semis to progress to the Grand Final and lost a close one to Tigers 35-38 in the Championship game.

 

Thanks to all our players/coaches/managers/families and supporters over the past weeks leading up to the State Champs weekends.

We look forward to seeing you all at the end of January for WABL trials.
